The sequence of serving tea using a Yixing Teapot 紫砂壶行茶之序

This course focuses on ten core processes of brewing tea using a Yixing teapot. Coming from the same principle of serving tea with specific sequences, we will practice the same concept with a Yixing teapot. Following the sequence helps us stay focused, calm, and organized when practicing the tea ceremony.

We will demonstrate and explain why all teaware are set up in a certain way; What teas are suitable for Yixing teapot; Tea ratio for Yixing teapot brewing; How the shape of teapot affects the taste of your tea; How to brew tea with Yixing teapot; How to take care of your Yixing teapot; Whether awakening and rinsing tea is necessary, and more!

If you have a Yixing teapot and feel that you didn’t take full advantage of it, you are welcome to join our course! We recommend this fundamental course to new gongfu tea lovers and anyone who wants to improve the aesthetics of your tea brewing.
