This hai tang ("hai tang" a type of flower in Chinese) shaped tea tray was handmade by a potter in Jingdezhen, China, and features a beige glazed ceramic base with a copper top. The holes and organic edge were inspired by the patterns of a bug-bitten aged tree. The unique oil slick finish on the iron is created by the fire. It has a nice weight which provides a solid foundation for your gaiwan or teapot. We especially like the unique finish, floral shape, and beige glaze of this tea tray.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
