Carefully handmade by a woodcarver in Jingdezhen, China, this tea tray is carved with aged wood, which used to be part of a solid wood door. We especially like the details, organic holes, and natural patterns on the wood. The big capacity provides enough room for a teapot/gaiwan and two teacups. Please note that a wood chip that appears brighter is on the edge of this tea tray due to international shipping. For this reason, this tea tray is offered at a lowered price. You can use both sides of the tray depending on your preference. We find this aged wood tea tray particularly charming regardless of the flaw on edge.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top.
