Old Tree Gui Hua Xiang Dan Cong

Old Tree Gui Hua Xiang Dan Cong
These medium roasted, dark, long, and twisted tea leaves were harvested in May, 2025. A great Gui Hua Xiang Dan Cong (osmanthus fragrance) Dan Cong does not necessarily taste like the actual flower, but might remind you of the sweet, pungent aroma of osmanthus.
We were blown away by the smell of this particular tea. The fragrance of this Gui Hua Xiang Dan Cong’s leaves is sweet, creamy, and above all, complex. It reminds us of juicy tropical fruits. The tea is floral, rich, and clean. We love how the aroma lingers in the nose and mouth.
Please note that the tea will be shipped after November 30.
Suggested Brewing:
No rinsing is required. 6 - 8 grams of tea is suggested to put into your gaiwan (100 - 110 ml). Steep with boiling hot water (100℃/ 212℉) for 3 seconds. It can be steeped 10 - 13 times. After the initial steeping, steep for 3-6 seconds to compensate for the cooling water.
