Yu Lan Xiang Dan Cong (Magnolia Fragrance)

Yu Lan Xiang Dan Cong (Magnolia Fragrance)

from $5.00

“Yu Lan Xiang” can be translated as “Magnolia Fragrance." These dark, yellowish-green, long and twisted tea leaves were hand-picked from tea bushes at a medium altitude (over 600 meters) in the Spring of 2025. The dry tea leaves have a pleasant and refreshing fragrance of orchid, roasted chestnut/wood and honey.

No rinsing is required. 6 - 8 grams of tea is suggested to put into your gaiwan (100 - 110 ml). Steep with boiling hot water (100℃/ 212℉) for 3 seconds. It can be steeped 10 - 13 times. After the initial steeping, steep for 3-6 seconds to compensate for the cooling water.

This tea is particularly easy to brew, just make sure that you don’t let it sit in the gaiwan for too long for the first few infusions. It has a surprisingly refreshing orchid and honey aroma, and the body of the tea is rich and mellow. It’s a perfect balance of delicate floral taste and thick/round texture. And the orchid and honey like taste lingers in your mouth for a very long time. Don’t forget to smell your empty porcelain tea cup. It smells like a delightful and delicate orchid perfume.

Please note that the tea will be shipped after November 30.
