Handmade Creamy White Chrysanthemums Gaiwan
Handmade by a potter who is also a ceramic teacher in Jingdezhen, China, this creamy white glazed gaiwan features an unpretentious glaze with a unique chrysanthemums lid. It is made of refined clay that is similar to porcelain. It feels extremely smooth in hand. The skilled potter made the wall of the gaiwan perfectly balanced; Not too thin, and not too thick and the weight of it feels perfect in your hand. The wide mouth of the gaiwan makes it less likely that you will burn your fingertips. Breaking the lid of this gaiwan would be especially devastating!

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
