Handmade and hand-painted by a potter in Jingdezhen, China, this porcelain gaiwan features a traditional Chinese painting style with trees and mountains. We particularly like the details of painting and traditional style of this gaiwan. Porcelain are the best to reflect the original taste of tea. The skilled potter made the wall of the gaiwan perfectly balanced; Not too thin, and not too thick and the weight of it feels perfect in your hand. The wide mouth of the gaiwan makes it less likely that you will burn your fingertips.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
