Qi Lan

Qi Lan

from $5.00

Our Qi Lan was harvested on April 28, 2020, and hand-processed three times by roasting in very small batches until August 2020 in Wu Yi Mountain.

Thanks to the unique geographical conditions of Wuyi Mountain, the powerful aroma of the wet leaves is evident as soon as the hot water hits the brewing vessel. The fragrance is a blend of fruity, floral, and roasted, with a warming sensation and notes of ripe peaches. Qi Lan's wonderful fragrance can fill a room and enhance every tea session. Equally wonderful is the taste of this tea. It has a beautiful balance of sweetness, light roast, and minerality (also called 'yan yun' or 'rock mineral flavor') It has a rich taste with a smooth mouthfeel and mild astringency that accentuates its complexity. Overall, this Qi Lan is warming, mellow, and soothing. Sipping this tea evokes memories of a quiet morning.
