We found these rustic pieces at a weekend bazaar in Jingdezhen, China. Each of these teapots features a unique iron/metal rust matte appearance. The texture of this clay is relatively rough and the interior of this teapot is not glazed. The form of this teapot is round and straight, and it has a ball shape filter. We particularly like the neat shape and rustic texture of this teapot. Holds approximately 100 ml of liquids.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. It’s safe to use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
