This starry blue glazed tea tray captured my attention at a weekend bazaar in Jingdezhen, China. I was struck by its unique, glossy yet matte glaze.
Each of these tea tray features a prominent blue or a purplish blue glossy glaze. They are covered with sporadic carbon trappings and peacock eyes. Each tea tray is similar in size and dimension, with slight variations in the depth, glaze color and carbon trapping patterns. It’s a perfect tea tray for dry pouring tea ceremony. Leaves no drip on your tea table.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
