Created by a ceramic company specializing in porcelain gongfu tea sets in Jingdezhen, China, this black tea tray features simplistic lines reminiscent of a zen garden. The minimalistic lines have a calming effect on the mind, a perfect addition when having tea. The lines in Zen gardens represent the flow of water, which is highly symbolic as you pour your tea. The drips this tray will catch will flow perfectly through these lines. We especially like the rectangular shape, which provides enough space for your gaiwan/teapot, faircup, and teacups.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
