We found this traditional yet playful tea tray at a weekend teaware market in Jingdezhen, China. It was handmade and painted by an artist known for her cat, fish, and crane-themed pottery. We will carry more tea trays and teacups from her in the near future. All of her handmade pieces are marked by her own logo(“豆“).
These rectangle tea trays feature a traditional style beige glaze with a whimsical image of a happy cat/deer playing between mountains and clouds. It provides plenty of room for a gaiwan and teacup.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. It’s safe to use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
