🌿 Support Our Dream Tea Room 🌿

Based in Boston, MA for over 10 years, I—like many tea lovers—have long dreamed of a space where one can slow down, savor a cup of premium loose leaf tea (brewed in gongfu style or any style), enjoy thoughtfully paired snacks and desserts, and simply unwind in the gentle, calming atmosphere of a tea room.

A place where artisan teaware can be appreciated like art in a gallery — a space that embodies serenity, beauty, and a slow, natural way of living.

Since 2018, this dream has quietly grown in our hearts, and now we’re finally ready to bring it to life.

Where Will the Tea Room be?

We’ll be located at 1132 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA, just a 6-minute walk from Harvard Square. (This is the space in its current state—we’re in the midst of thoughtfully renovating it into a tea room.)

What Will the Tea Room Look Like?

Key Features

  • Asian aesthetic-inspired tea room

  • Tea café offering premium loose leaf teas with thoughtfully paired pastries and desserts

  • Gallery space showcasing artisan teaware and uniquely designed tea-inspired clothing

  • Well-structured tea courses for those who want to dive deeper into tea

  • Pop-up area for local artists and communities to share their creations

  • Collaborations with musicians, artists, florists, writers, and creators to host meaningful cultural events

Our vision is to build an Asian aesthetic-inspired tea room open to everyone — a serene, inviting place where anyone can sit, rest, and connect through tea.

We’ll serve authentic, premium loose leaf teas prepared in various styles (though many may fall in love with gongfu tea 😉). A curated selection of pastries and desserts will be chosen to pair beautifully with the tea.

The space will feature artisan teaware and carefully selected tea-inspired clothing. We will also dedicate an area to local creators — from art and ethical goods to naturally made crafts and special pop-up exhibitions.

For those passionate about the practice of tea, we will offer structured tea courses exploring tea-growing regions, processing techniques, tasting experiences, and the peaceful rituals of the tea ceremony.

If you’re a musician, artist, florist, writer, craft maker, or creative of any kind, we would love to collaborate on culture-rich events that bring inspiration and meaningful moments to our community.

We embrace art, culture, and mindful living. Our dream is to create a tea space that feels like a warm, comforting sanctuary — filled with the fragrance of tea — where people can slow down and connect naturally.

🌸 How You Can Support Us

To bring this dream to life, we need your support. If this vision resonates with you — if this feels like your dream tea house too — here are three meaningful ways to help:

1. Make a Donation

Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly toward building the tea house.

2. Place an Order of $250 or More

All orders over $250 will automatically receive a 30% discount as our heartfelt thank-you for supporting the creation of the tea house.
(Valid until 2026/03/01)

3. Make an Early Reservation to Save Your Spot

We’re a small tea room and can comfortably seat 14–15 guests at a time. Reserving early helps ensure a relaxed, unhurried tea session and allows us to care for each guest with intention.

✍️ How You Can Collaborate With Us

If you’re a musician, artist, florist, writer, or creator who values culture and beauty, we would love to partner with you. Together, we hope to curate meaningful, artful tea gatherings or events for our community.

Building this tea house requires people, funding, thoughtful programming, and a reputation built through sincerity and quality. If you’re interested in creating this together with us, we’d love to brainstorm ideas — and, most importantly, bring them to life with care.

We’re still finalizing a few key details about the tea space, and your input means the world to us. If you can, please leave a comment below sharing:

  • where you’d like to see us (e.g., Somerville, Cambridge), and

  • what kind of tea room you dream of steeping tea in.

We’d truly love to hear your vision.
