Handmade in Jingdezhen by the same potter who creates the original “Classic Thin Wall White Porcelain Gaiwan (Wide)”, this gaiwan is much thinner and taller. It is made of refined porcelain clay, and it features a white glaze that appears glossy. The skilled potter made the wall of the gaiwan ultra-thin, so it’s very light to hold. And the wide-open mouth design makes it less likely to burn your fingertips. We particularly like the small size and delicate shape of this gaiwan.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
