Made in China. This glass gaiwan features a semi frosted appearance. We particularly like the shape and functionality of this glass gaiwan. It’s clean and neat. Cools down faster than clay ware. It’s suitable for green tea or any tea that requires lower temperature and shorter steeping.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
