This neutral beige glazed kettle features a round shape with a right hand side handle. The clay used is exceptionally smooth. People use clay kettles like this for their breathable clay texture and nature of maintaining the high temperature. It's perfect for the authentic gongfucha experience.
It can be used on an open flame, gas, electric stove-top, and charcoal burners. It holds approximately 600 ml of liquids. It's a perfect size to keep your water "active" (活水 living water), and it's a great kettle to brew some aged tea, such as aged puerh and aged white teas.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. It’s suitable to use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. But try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking. Please never heat the kettle without water, as this may cause an explosion.
