This tea knife is very helpful when you try to break into a tightly pressed tea cake. It is sharp, but it’s safe for breaking into a tea cake. The pointy top of the tea knife makes breaking into tightened tea cakes such as ripe puerh and hei cha much easier. The character on the end of the knife is an ancient writing of “茶“ which means “tea”. It comes with a black leather case to safely storage the knife.
