Handcrafted by ceramic artist Du in Jingdezhen, China, this slim gaiwan features a soft pink glaze with unique variations reminiscent of a glowing galaxy.
Each piece is individually wheel-thrown and glazed by hand, resulting in subtle differences in color, pattern, shape, and size. These natural variations are part of the beauty and character of handmade ceramics.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
