This electronic stove is manufactured by San Jie, a company specializing in tea brewing kettles and electronic stoves. Many of you might worry about whether the heating stove is compatible with outlets in the U.S., given they were manufactured in China. We carefully tested every stove we have, and we are happy to report that they work just as well here as they do in China! Plug it into a two-hole outlet, wait 20 mins, and your water will be boiled.
Many people (including us) can't wait for 20 mins to have hot water, but these heating stoves are particularly helpful for slowly boiling aged tea such as aged white tea and aged ripe puerh. We especially like to use these electric stoves when we have a tea gathering. While it's taking its time boiling water, we have enough time to decide what tea to drink and what teaware to use, set everything up, and we have time to chat with our friends!
Okay, okay! 20 mins is indeed a long time to boil water. We admit that we were mainly attracted to these stoves for their simple aesthetics and high quality, and it was enough reason to carry them.
The first generation is slightly bigger than the 2nd generation in size, and 2nd generation provides a neater design. Both work exceptionally well, and it's just a matter of your preference.
