This overhead kettle is manufactured by San Jie, a company specializing in tea brewing kettles and electronic stoves. The interior of this kettle is made of stainless steel. We especially like the overhead design and simplistic style of this kettle.
Something to bear in mind is that this kettle can not be used on an open fire, it's a perfect match for the electronic stove that the same company creates. Also, don't forget to add water to the kettle before you put it on a stove. The kettle will be destroyed if you put it on a running stove without adding water. Lastly, Don't add any other liquids such as milk, coffee to the kettle. It works the best with spring water.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. It’s suitable to use on an electric stove-top. Don’t use it on an open fire. Please never heat the kettle without water, as this may cause an explosion.
